My relation with the English and my challenges with it

Hello!

This is my last post in the blog and this time I will write about my relation with the English and my futures planes with this language.

My relation with the English isn’t what I wanted because although I like this language there are things that I can hardly learn or there are things I've learned and I've forgotten and I don’t know why, I suppose that is because I don’t practice the pronunciation of words and neither I write in English, then this is probably my problem.

For this reason I believe that my experience learning English at university has been a bit difficult. In first year I was in first level of English but this course was easy and I don’t have difficulties, but in the next levels I have problems because I don’t understand the class. But anyway all these years I have been learning new things with different teachers and it wasn’t all that bad.

The use of blogs is very helpful because this activity serve to write what we like and what we hate to do, our planes and more things in English. This activity I had to do for the first time in third level and I continued practicing in this level and I feel that is very good for our learning.

I feel that I need to improve many aspects because still I can’t talk all you want to talk in this language, addition I also would like to improve my writing and learn new words for broaden my knowledge. For this the next year or in 2017 I want to do a course of English in an institute, I believe that is the better way learning for me.

My reflections

Hi eveyone!

Before of all I want to say that I feel that this year has been very fast, is incredible I I can’t believe we are almost in December! This year has been a fairly quiet year for me, not me great events have occurred, but still have my thoughts on this year that is almost over.

This time I will focus on writing about my studies and my plans for them
.
And is becoming less to finish my career, this year will end the 4 levels of English, something that has cost me a lot because I always had problems to do the course because my schedule did not coincide with the various courses and I also costs a little language, then makes me very happy conclusion of this course.

Also this year I finish my seminary which serves me for undergraduate career, it makes me feel good because I'm sure that my group will deliver a good job so I can start my thesis next year.This summer I will do my practice and this month I have been going to tests and interviews to be selected somewhere. I hope to desempeñarme of the best in this new stage.

I hope 2016 is a good year like 2015. I am very nervous about the next year, as this is my last year of college and finish a very important stage in my life.

I have only good wishes for 2016, I hope we can all make our future plans!

My next summer vacation

Hi everyone!

Today I want to write about my next summer vacation. In the next year I do next professional practice, so then I can’t go anywhere this summer. This situation is very sad, because I don’t know new places or only rest in my home. But I think that is good, because I have to work in order to learn and have more experience in what I'm studying.

But maybe I have one week free in december or march because depend of the start or finish of the practice. So in this week I want to go to the beach, because I like the sun and lie on the san. Although, all depend of the money because if I don’t have money in the summer date I can’t go to the beach.

And if I can’t go to the beach, I try go to the any pool with my family, although, this option is very bored compared with the beach. Maybe I will try save money since today, so if I do this I can travel in the summer.

Other option is get a job now, so I get money and I can occupy in this travel, I think that idea is great! But my ideal vacation would go to my boyfriend to the north of the Chile. I will go to the any beach like BahÍa Inglesa and I will like go to other places like Valle del Elqui, the people say that in this place the stars are beautiful in the night. I love this plane!

I'm green but not enough

Hello!

This time I will to talk about the role of ecology in my life. This topic isn’t very present in my life, because I don’t thinking all the time in recycle and my family either. I don’t think in collect the plastics containers or separate trash in glass, plastic and paper, I recognize that I forget and this isn’t good because I'm not worrying about the planet we live.

But I'm not so bad person (this post is making me feel very bad person haha :)) I care about not throw garbage on the street, I don’t like do it and I hate to see a person throwing a paper out of the trash, I've even seen people doing it from the window of the bus!

In my house, my family tries to save water and the light, but is very difficult because all employ it all the days. But the other day, I saw my mom has been collecting disposable bottles drinks and juices, these bottles are in a corner of the garden of the house. She wants to go throw them in a dump of plastic and I will go whit her!

In the place where I live, Maipú, there aren’t places to throw the garbage separately, I think there should be more ecological dump and maybe we could contribute more to the ecology of the planet.

Finally, I believe it should work more with the environment and not forgetting such an important issue. I hope you do the same!

Fashion and music are my passion

Hi!

This time I want to write about my passion in the life, or what I like most. The title says it all, because I love the fashion; in the last time I’ve noticed that this topic is very interesting for me.

All the days I see fashion in the magazines, instagram and blogs, either for read articles about the new trends in the world, runway shows for I see the fashion industry and what the various labels will be releasing. Also I like see the streetstyle in pictures because I like learning new ways of dressing, and look for new trends.

Always I like the clothes and go to the shopping, but I discovered but since this year I noticed that I like much more than before. Anyway this isn’t the only topic fascinates me, I also like music, because I like so much sing and to listen music. I've never tried singing professionally and generally do only at home, and despite I don’t know play musicals instruments when I do it when I sing passionately.

I feel that the fashion and the music are present all the time in my life.

I finally graduate... and now what?

Hi everyone!

I don't know where I work in the future, because I think in much possibility. But I know that I like one topic and this is: fashion. 

When I graduate I like work in fashion magazines, writing about this topic, maybe to travel to others countries to report differents events about fashion. Also I like the television, and I like production of tv in a any program.

Other possibility is work in a company, I like work in a fashion company, for example brands like Topshop, Mango, Forever 21 or others. But I don´t know if some dreams come true because these are hard work to get, especially when I graduate because at first I must work hard and wages are low.

Also when I graduate I like work and then save up, because then I like I have a car and to travel and for this I need save up a lot of money

But this are only planes, because you don’t know what you gonna do in the future. Maybe I studying another career or a master degree. This I know in the future.

The best holidays I've ever had

Hi everyone!

Today I want to write about the best holidays I've ever had in my life. This holidays was in summer of 2012. I like de summer and I love the beach, so for the best holidays are when I went to La Serena in the north of our country. In this time, I traveled with my uncles and cousins.

I had never been in this place, so when I went was fabulous because I tried different foods, we went everyday to the beach, and here I take sun, I play pallets, and I don’t know swim I am on the edge of the sea, but this situation is not problem for me, I don’t care don’t know swim!

Also we went to different restaurants, and I ate fish, ceviche, and I tried differents types of natural juice. Although not in all restaurants treated us well, because in one the waiter lingered long in coming to the table with the meal, but this situation will not dull our holidays.

But also we went to Coquimbo, here there are many places to visit, like, La Cruz del Tercer Milenio, La Herradura beach, Valle del Elqui, and I went to all this places. This last place is very beautiful, and there are many tourists because they're going to know how that pisco is made. And La Cruz del Tercer Milenio is very high and you have a view of the whole city.

For me this holidays was great because I met many different places within the same region and at the same time went to the beach to rest.

The country I would like to visit

The place that I will like visit is France, because I want to know the Eiffel Tower. This place in the pictures always see beautiful, especially in the night because is full of lights. Also I will like to eat the differents flavors, especially the cheeses, because I like this food. In addition I will like to learn the language of this country, is very interesting the use of the words.

  

But the reason for that I know this country is because is one of the most important in the world of the fashion y and I love this topic. In Paris is done an important event about global trends it is Paris Fashion week.  This is a clothing and fashion exhibition and in France is done with two events each year, and this are: spring/summer and autumn/winter.

This show was inaugurated in 1973 and meets to different fashion designers and top models of the world, for example: Lanvin, Christian Dior, Dolce Gabanna, Jean Paul Gaultier and others. These runway shows are held to show the fashion industry and different trends of fashion in the world.

For this reason mainly I will love to go to France, especially to Paris, because is one of the principal capitals of the fashion together with New York, London, Milan.  But finally is a set of reasons for that I love the capital of France: the flavors, the fashion and the Eiffel tower in the night. 

Evaluation of My Blogging Experience

My experience in this blog has been very rewarding, because it has allowed me to develop writing extensively on some issues, which has helped me in a way to vent and tell my life experiences.

Obviously I have not told my whole life here, there are many things that you do not even know me and if I keep writing here will go knowing them. In general, I feel that I liked this experience, I loved telling stories of my life and talk about my tastes in different areas.

What I liked was talking about the expert admiroy the picture that I like. And in the next posts I want to talk about where I like to travel and I like to do after graduating from my career.

My Best Friend

My best friend's name is Patricia, she is 24 years old, but she is not only my friend but also my cousin. I feel that for this reason we have more confidence and the relationship is even closer, because through out our lives we have been united with this family bond.

I consider my best friend because we have many issues in common and therefore much talked, we laughed and we went together to different places.

We have seen several movies together because she love movies, we have been shopping many times while we shared a lot in family, either trips or birthday.

Best Concert I have seen

The first time I went to the concert of an artist was in September 2005, and this was when Avril Lavigne, came to make his first prsentacion in Chile.

The concert was at the Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo in Las Condes, and I live in Maipú, so I had took me a long time coming, but I was not alone, I went with my uncle and cousin, then we liked

At that time I was 13 and my cousin 14, the truth I liked, but I recognize that some of the songs he sang were not known, but dde tods ways had a great time. I remember the presentation lasted 1 hour, which is not much compared with other artists more we delay in reaching that witness the same show (jaja).

To get there we took two buses, at that time there was still no transantiago, then the routes were longer, I think we delay about 2 hours to get there, and then had a row, but not as long as we thought.

At the end of the concert, I remember interviewing journalists had assistants, but we did not want that and move away.

Our uncle accompanied us and bought a ticket right there before entering, because he could accompany us could go. And when we left we had to walk and then take micro and all the time he was with us. That day was genial!

While it is not the person I most admire in the world (since this place has my mom) admire the work of this person and what she has achieved throughout his career, it is Anna Wintour, the editor-in Chief of Vogue US, is also a journalist and writer

English father and American mother, became interested in fashion as a teenager. After leaving school at 16, he chose not to go to college and start a career in journalism on both sides of the Atlantic. In 1988 he reached the post of Vogue editor North America and from there it has grown into a real fashion icon besides exerting an important influence on the industry.

Despite being criticized for its particular way of being, his strong character and his cold personality, Wintour has positioned itself squarely in the fashion world, is acclaimed for its good outlook for trends and its support them young designers. He also led the successful magazine that those years was not at its best.

What I like about Anna Wintour is what he has accomplished during his career: being a leader and being the editor of one of the most important magazines in the world of fashion. I also admire his strong character and he does not care what anyone says about it, a perfect combination of character and glamor. I would be very happy if I ever have the pleasure to interview and would be even happier if someone managed to be like her.

My favorite movie: Titanic

This movie I like because is about a history of love, and I love it. First I like because I like it because it acts Leonardo Di Caprio, he is a very handsome and acts very well, although he has never won an Oscar. Secondly I like it because it is quite credible, from start to finish I think throughout history, somehow you get involved in it all the time and want the players stay together forever. And thirdly I like that the first time I saw made me mourn, I know it's not good mourn (haha) but at the same time I think if you cry is because you believed in the story (and also because they are very sensitive)

James Cameron is directing the film and who play the main characters are: Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson, a thin young man, blond and American-born orphan that going on board the ship falls for Rose DeWitt, played by Kate Winslet, she is a red-haired, blue-eyed young man, and belongs to a wealthy family.

Billy Zane as Caledon Natha, is the girlfriend of Rose, a wealthy thirty-year-old (who is also the heir to a great fortune in Pittsburgh) who in turn serves as the antagonist of the film. It has an arrogant and snobbish personality. Frances Fisher as Ruth DeWitt Bukater: Rose's widowed mother, who wishes his daughter marrying Cal to maintain high economic status of their family. He loves his daughter, but believes that social position is a very important aspect.

The list of characters is great for that, I mention only a few. The plot is based on real fact and tells the relationship between Jack and Rose, two young men who meet and fall in love aboard the ocean liner Titanic on her maiden voyage from Southampton, England, to New York, USA. UU., In April 1912. Each of them belonging to different social classes, trying to get ahead despite the adversities that would separate definitively, including Rose's fiancé, Caledon "Cal" Hockley (which a wealthy man she is not in love) and of course the fatal sinking of the luxury liner after colliding with an iceberg.

My favorite part of the movie is the typical scene where Jack and Rose embrace and look towards the horizon at the tip of the boat while sunset is dropped. And what would change is the end, as it was not fair that Jack died frozen at sea and Rose survived, though I admit that I was surprised the first time I saw her.

A photograph I like

This photograph was the April 1965 cover of Harper's Bazaar and is one of most emblematic images of the magazine Harper's Bazaar. The face surrounded by a pink color corresponds to the model and actress Rosemary Jean Shrimpton, who was an icon of Swinging London and is considered as one of the first in the world supermodels.

But the one to make this photograph by Richard Avedon, a recognized and renowned American photographer, who at the time was part of the staff photographers of the magazine Harper's Bazaar with only 21 years.

Gradually the work of Avedon begins to shine and be an unexpected success during the '50s his eye was already famous for its great dynamism, movement and style and somehow she managed to grow a stamp on your images to the day today is easily recognizable.

Well, this photograph was made during a photo session in March 1965 for the Bazaar and among many was chosen to be the cover of the magazine. What we see in this picture is the serious face of a woman and a circle around it and pink background you can see a gray color. Alongside magazine holders they are and of course on top of her title, this green.

I really like this picture because I love fashion photography and look fashion magazine covers such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, among others. As well as I love the color scheme and the photographer got symmetry in relation to the face and pink circle around it, since the frame is perfectly achieved.

My favorite festivity

Hello! here a new post, this time is about my favorite festivity. The national holidays for me are very funny, I like it for many reasons: the first for the free days that we have, are three or four days, but sometimes it lengthens one week, and this is wonderful! he second reason is for the food, The empanadas, choripan, anticuchos, asados, all this thins are delicious. For me, the best empanadas they are bring meat, but the of cheese also I like it!

In general  the environment that there is in Chile in this date is of celebration, happiness, joy, and this is very enjoyable. Many chilean go to the "fondas", this are places por celebrate and people eat empanadas and meat and drink wine until very late. 

This celebration is at  september 18th and 19th, although the independence of the Chile isn't was in this day. Really, the signature of the declaration of independence was recently would make the February 12, 1818, and the celebration is in sepetember because then was the first national governing assembly, so then the chileans celebrate that day. 

Definitely, for me is the best celebration, because the people join and the food is delicious.

My favorite piece of technology

Hello! How are you? Today I will talk about my most important technological element. For me the smartphone is a thing very significant, because I can call to the persons, I can send messages of text, of voice, whatsapps, I can connect with all my friends, family, persons in general. 

I believe that the smartphone is very important and not only for the young pople, but also all the persons. My mothe for example, she work selling credits and even though she uses her office phone for talk with the customers, she must also use your smartphone to communicate with them. Before (in the '90) it wasn't this way, because it still didn't appear smartphones, these phones that can do many things al the same time: Use whatsapp, message of text, and use social networks such as, facebook. twitter, instagram. This means that times had changed, and and apparently for the better!.

Well, my smartpone is a iPhone 4S, I have since of december 2012

and though it isn't longer the latest model, i like it! Whit my cell I canwill call for respondents comunicate with all the people I know. Also as I'm a journalist I have it, because I use for to call to celebrities, politics, sporty, journalists, and many persons, then definitely for me it is very useful. 

Finally, I go all places whit my cell in my bag or the pocket and I love personalize! My case is red whit white dots and also I have one case of Snoopy, and this I like it because protects my phone and it looks more beautiful.

Expectations for a new semester

Hello! here a new post about me. Today I will speak about my expectations of this new semester:

Now I have five subjects in the university, this are: Journalism television, theory and practice multimedia, planning strategic of the comunication, technique of investigation of the comunication and latin american perspective. I like almost the subjects but planning strategic of the comunication is the only that I hate a little because the class are bored. 

The extracurriculars that I took is only English. Before I had taken an elective of sport, but I regret because I dislike run.

In the university I dont participe in no extracurricular activity. Altough I sign up in a program of radio in the faculty, then I hope that turn out chosen with my others classmate.  

I hope that in this new academic period the wish and my expectatives achieve, for example pass all the subjects of this semester I hope with good grade, I hope that our program of radio sea chosen and like this we can realize. Finally I hope with longing the holidays!

Autobiography

Hello! My name is Tatiana Cruz León, I was born on february 17 of 1992 in Santiago de Chile, I'm 23 years old. I live with my mother, my grandparents and an uncle in Maipú.

My mother is a sales executive in a bank, my uncle pruns three with different tools and my grandparents are retired. I study journalism at Universidad de Chile and I like it! but before I studied other degree but I hated it. 

I love studying journalism, but I have a little problem! I travel an hour and a half everyday on a bus and subway to arrive to the university and this is very tiring.

I love reading magazines and blogs of fashions also I like taking photos with my camera and listen to music.
